"Hi Megan,
Just wanted to let you know how our boy is doing :) I took him out for the first time saturday to a 4 ring show in Altamont NY. He went reserve in the first 2 rings and grand and best of breed in the 3rd and 4th. Not bad for his first time ! We love him, he's a gentleman, he's beautiful and is throwing very nice babies, his first 2 daughters are due any day, udders are very cute right now.
Thanks for the wonderful boy you sent us."

"Just-Tina is doing wonderful. She is fitting in quite well. She made sure she let every other goat know who is boss. LOL I've been spoiling her already. I am so glad to finally have her home. I still can't believe she's mine. I just couldn't let her go anyplace else. I've wanted her for a very long time and I was fortunate enough to add her to my herd. I am so very lucky to have Just-Tina. :-) Congrats on breeding such a gorgeous doe!"
Take care, Sara |

"I just had to rush right home to let you know that Dilly earned her first leg today at the Boon County show in Sedalia Missouri. The judge was Seibert and she said that Dilly was the nicest jr. Doe that she had seen all year . She complimented her straightness and dairy qualities as well as her overall smoothness and thought she was very flashy. Well done!"

"I love my LSF Star Status kids! ALL my Status kids are so nice -- lots of ear, wide level tops, awesome set to feet and legs. He is super duper sharp in his shoulders. That boy is HUGE. He is as tall or taller than my big 4 yr old N buck. Keep in touch!"

There is nothing quite like the arrival of new spring kids. We take pride in raising strong, healthy kids. To make sure that our kids are healthy and friendly, we attend all births and bring the kids to the house where they are held often and hand fed for the first few days of life. Once they are off to a good start, they are moved to the kid barn and grouped by age where they still receive individualized care.
Even though kidding season can get very hectic, we find that by spending quiet time watching the new babies play and develop, helps us to retain our sanity and reinforces the desire to put forth the extra effort required to raise quality kids. Past customers have often remarked about how friendly and healthy our kids are when they arrive at their new home.

| The Right Kid for the Right Home |
|
|

|
At Lakeshore Farms we strive to place the right kid in the right home. We enjoy talking to our potential customers to find out their needs and working together to find the right animal for them. We want our animals to become an asset to your herd.
Herd health and management is very important to our breeding program. We feed only top quality alfalfa, |

oat hay and a 16% dairy ration, as well as free choice minerals and any other supplements important to their health. We vaccinate with CD&T annually and give Bo-Se as a source of selenium. Our drier climate allows us to worm our animals only twice a year: shortly after kidding and again at the end of show season. During breeding season, all of our does are taken to the bucks and hand bred.
All kids offered for sale are guaranteed to be healthy and genetically sound at time of sale. To insure this, we attend all births and raise our kids on a CAE prevention program separate from the adult goats. We feed free choice pasteurized milk, mineral and vitamins supplements, and add Decox-M to their milk to prevent coccidiosis. This program has worked very well for us, allowing our kids to grow well and adapt quickly to new environments.

Our kid orders can fill up fast, so we encourage you to contact us soon with your selection. This year we will only take one doe kid and two buck kid reservations per doe. All of our kid orders are taken on a first come, first serve basis. To reserve your Lakeshore kid, we ask for a deposit of $100 per kid ordered with the balance due within 14 days after notification of birth. When choosing a kid, please designate a second choice if possible, in the event that your first choice is not available. If we are unable to fill your order or if the animal does not meet our standards of quality, your deposit may be transferred to another choice or refunded upon buyer's request. |
|
|
|
| Deposits are not refunded on cancelled orders. Prices quoted are for pre-ordered kids picked up or shipped between 4 to 6 weeks of age. We do not guarantee these prices for animals ordered after birth. |

Our customers and the Lakeshore animals that they purchase are very important to us. We appreciate receiving updates from the new owners and hearing how our animals are doing in your herd. To show our appreciation to our repeat customers, we are pleased to again offer a 10% discount on any animal purchased in
2008. We also offer discounts to 4-H Members and multiple animal purchases. All buck kids are sold with an agreement that we may purchase up to 20 straws of semen at collection cost. If you decide to purchase a Lakeshore Farms buck, we ask that you agree to refrain from marketing his semen until his daughters have been evaluated in milk. |
