Lily is Aaron’s one and only Nubian (as he says…), and she was even named by him after being born on Easter Sunday back in 2009. She is a lovely doe who has been living up to those high expectations, even finishing her championship as a first freshening two year-old! Lily is a deep, wide and powerful doe with a tremendous mammary system. We love the balance that she exhibits in side profile with roundness in shape, length and smoothness of blending in the fore udder, as well as the height and width of rear udder. She also has a strong medial with correct teat size, shape and placement. Lily is also upstanding in the front end with a long, lean neck, strength of topline and levelness over the rump.
One of Lily’s son, *B LakeShore Be Lickity Split 1-06 VG87 (VEV), sired the 2013 ADGA Reserve Junior National Champion, Risin’ Creek Banana Split, as well as several other strong offspring in the Risin’ Creek herd; including our purchase from the 2014 Colorama Sale,
Risin’ Creek Split
Ivy. Another son, *B LakeShore TO RocksOn, appraised 1-04 VG88 (VVV). A daughter of Lily’s, LakeShore Starr Lily’s Bloom, has received numerous Best Udder awards as a first freshening two
year-old, while another daughter, LakeShore
Indian Paintbrush, was 4th place Milking
Yearling with 3rd Udder at the 2019 ADGA National Show.
We also recently had one of Lily's son, *B
LakeShore Blue Kai, rejoin our herd and we
are looking forward to seeing his first progeny in our
herd born in the Spring of 2020!
Lily
has been a strong doe in our herd completing a lactation
as a three year-old of over 3,000 lbs, as well as being
the 2009 ADGA National Reserve Junior Champion; 3rd pl.
Three Year-Old in 2012; and 4th place 5-6 Year-Old at the 2015
ADGA National Show. Lily also linear appraised 6-02 EX91
(EEEE).
