Romance is Solstice's 'little' sister, but is quite an eye-catcher in her own right. She reminds us a lot of her dam, GCH Lakeshore Farms Summer Storm 5*M, in both looks and in attitude. Romance is a stylish doe with smoothness of blending, levelness of topline and correct rear leg set and angulation. She is showing good spring of rib, depth of body and width, however could benefit from some added stretch. Her mammary is very balanced with tremendous area of attachment, height and width of rear udder, extension of fore and nice teat size. We love everything we've seen so far and expect great things with a second freshening. We realize that she didn't reach her milking potential this year after a difficult delivery of a large, dead kid.

Even with a smaller udder, Romance held her own in the show ring, placing 6th in the Yearling Milker class at Nationals. She also went on to be 2x1st, 1x2nd and 2x4th during the show season.
