Sahara is another one
of our beautiful milking daughters from Sequoia, who is following in
the winning traditions of her sisters. We were very disappointed
this year when she freshened with mastitis and had to sit out the
show season. Her mastitis was aggressively treated and we hope to
have her back in the show string next year. Sahara used the time off
this year to grow even more and is now rivaling her sister, GCH L/F
Ace Sienna, to be one of the largest does in the herd.
She is a very tall and
angular doe, being upstanding in the front end and sharp in the
withers with a long, level rump and good rear leg set. Her mammary
is very wide in the rear with lots of area of attachment, good
height, a well defined medial, plum teats and a smoothly blended
fore udder. Sahara was 2nd place Milking Yearling with 1st place
udder at the 2004 National Show and a member of the 2nd place
Produce-Of-Dam which stood 2nd to her sisters (GCH EX
Sierra) 1st
place Produce.
