Ace has made a name for
himself through the powerful offspring that he has produced.
Although he hasn't given us many daughters, the ones that we do
have, have made quite an impact on our herd and in the show ring.
His daughters currently residing in our herd include; GCH L/F Sierra
Storm 4*M (EX90), 1st place Four Year-Old at the 2004 National Show;
L/F Ace Sierra Vista 4*M (EX91), 4th place Two Year-Old 2007
National Show; LakeShore Ace Shakira, 10th place Milking Yearling
2007 National Show; LakeShore Ace Shedaisy, 5th place Milking
Yearling 2007 National Show, LakeShore Ace Summer Solstice and
Lakeshore Ace Summer Romance, who were 6th and 19th place Senior
Kids respectively at the 2007 National Show. Other notable offspring
include: SGCH L/F Ace Of Hearts (EX91), 2003 ADGA National Best
Nubian Udder and 1st place Two Year-Old; GCH L/F Ace Sienna 3*M
(EX90), 2nd place Four Year-Old at the 2006 National; GCH +*B L/F
Ace Star Status (EX91); CH *B L/F Ace Tacoma (EX90); and CH *B L/F
Hit The Jackpot (EX90). Ace is consistently producing daughters with very strong
mammaries that excel in overall area of udder attachment, fore
extension and correct teat size. In general, his offspring tend to
be taller, longer and dairier than their dams. So far, Ace has sired
11 permanent champions; 5 daughters and 6 sons, with several others
having championship legs. There are also 8 progeny who have received
linear appraisal scores of EX90 or higher. We are saddened to say that Ace injured himself at the
beginning of breeding season this fall at the age of eight, and we
are not sure yet if he will be able to make a full recovery. We are
pulling for him and hoping for the best. He has been a wonderful
buck and has done many great things not only in our herd, but in
other herds across the country. |
